Create a Dashboard
You create a new dashboard and set a private password for it. This password is known only to you.

Encrypt in Your Browser
Your password is used to derive a strong encryption key inside your browser. This key never touches our servers.

Store Encrypted "Gibberish"
All your sensitive data (store names, prices, items) is encrypted before being sent to us. We only store the encrypted result.

You Are the Only Key Holder
To view your data, you must provide your dashboard password to other users so they can decrypt it in the browser. Without it, the data cannot be accessed.
What About AI Receipt Scanning?
We use an isolated, anonymous service to protect your privacy during AI processing.

You Get a "Pass"
Your browser asks our main server for a temporary, single-use "pass" to use the AI. We check your account plan and issue the pass without linking it to your data.

Anonymous AI Request
Your browser sends the receipt image and the pass directly to our separate, isolated AI service. This service does not know who you are or which dashboard this is for.

AI Processes & Forgets
The AI service generates text and immediately returns it to your browser. The image and text are never stored by our AI service.

You Encrypt & Save
The extracted text arrives back in your browser, where it is finally encrypted with your key and saved. We only ever store the encrypted "gibberish".
Please note, when using AI features, we send relevant data to a third-party model provider for processing. Only absolutely necessary data are send anonymously without any reference to your profile. For example, in case of receipt to text conversion it would be an image of the receipt, and for AI-analysis it is going to be a text representation of the receipts from the selected dates. NO AI processed data is ever stored on our servers.
